10 Sep A Little 90’s Grunge
Patches are back and I have been buying so many pieces that either have them on already or that I can create my own design with them. That being said, I immediately fell in love with these Express patch jeans! I went a little 90’s grunge with this look, but I like to switch up my style from day to day because I tend to get bored if I stick with a same style for too long. Adventuring to Deep Ellum in here in Dallas was the perfect place for this look. I love seeing all of the graffiti walls and murals. So, if you are in Dallas, I highly recommend checking it out!
I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit pretty simple with such detailed jeans, so I added a plain grey tee and an olive mesh bomber jacket that will be even better when fall weather actually makes its way to Dallas. I love that it is mesh since it’s stays hot here for a bit longer, but I can have the fall look without the heat stroke. 😉
I am also loving this style of boots that I keep seeing pop up! I actually bought these last year, but luckily they are back again and a very reasonable price! They are really perfect for any fall outfit and super cute with dresses as well!
For a little color (and because it was pretty sunny) I added these fun purple lens sunglasses from Emil. I love brands that give back, so when they contacted me to collaborate, I was on board! Plant a Tree, Wear Emil is their slogan because for every pair of sunglasses sold, they plant 10 trees in order to help sustain our planet. There are 6 different styles, so there is a pair for anyone’s style!
I finished the look off with a necklace from The Giving Keys! They are also a great company that gives back. They hire employees that are transitioning from homelessness and create the perfect staple jewelry to have in your collection. I love how you can choose different encouraging words to have on their pieces and they encourage you to pass them along if you come across someone that is more in need of that encouragement than yourself.
