09 Jun Keeping it Flowy with Free People
Happy Friday! I teamed up with Free People to give you 3 of my favorite summer looks from their site. First up, I am keeping it flowy with Free People in this casual top that I might just live in this summer. It’s loose, flowy and perfect for these hot summer Texas days here. I don’t know about you, but I hate wearing super tight tops in the summer with the awful humidity! Pair it with my new favorite shorts and some lace ups, and you are set for summer!
Whether you are heading out to a picnic, concert or even just a trip to the mall, this top is perfect for you! It comes in several different colors and I love the oversized fit. It’s also a thin (but, not too thin) material that breathes well. I chose this lavender(ish) color because well.. I liked it but also because it was a unique shade that I didn’t already have in my closet and I love it even more in person! I’ve only worn it twice since I got it and already have gotten so many compliments on the style and color, so it’s a must-have for sure! I usually spice things up a bit and add some statement jewelry to my looks, but I kept this one simple and paired it with some patch distressed jeans that I found at Target. So if you are the girl that likes to quickly throw on an outfit without thought, then this one is for you!
I have only had these shorts for a little over a week and I have already worn them multiple times. The fit is great with a high waist and frayed details and they were like $22. I liked that the patches make them a little more fun, but they also come in just a plain black pair with no patches if you’re not into that. 😉
I finished off this simple look with my go-to lace up heels that you are all probably tired of seeing me wear since I have like 6 different colors and practically live in them. At least you know that I truly do love these shoes and if you don’t have a pair yet, now is your chance to snag some!
