Yay for the weekend!

I’ve recently noticed that my schedule has gotten a little too crazy for my usual sticky notes and that I really needed a planner to stay organized. Yes, I know..we all have iPhones, etc. now but for some reason, I still like to physically write things down.

I saw this Emily Ley simplified planner on The Cake by Hannah (you should check out her blog also!) as well as several other blogs and knew it would be perfect!  Of course I was a wee bit late and it’s already sold out. :( I luckily found someone that decided they didn’t want theirs and I’m so happy that I did! It has really helped me keep all my appointments and daily “to-do’s” in check! Plus, who doesn’t love that feeling of marking something off once you accomplish it!? There are so many great planners out there, so don’t worry if you can’t get your hands on this one! I linked some other great ones above. 😉

The weather here in Dallas is warm, yet again, so I wanted to bring out some bright colors! I purchased this skirt at Runway Seven last year and it’s the perfect skirt to be able to throw on a tee with or dress up for a date night out with heels and a blouse. This is just a basic acid wash grey tee that I found at Forever 21. It’s super soft and I love that it isn’t just a solid color. I also love pairing it with a pencil skirt, heels and a statement necklace for a night out.

For a little more color fun, I added a tri-color Fancy Fringe necklace. I have been having so much fun making these for you guys! I love seeing the custom orders and colors that you come up and really appreciate all your support in my fashion journey.

Finally, I put on these moto boots from Target, that I probably should have gotten rid of long ago, but can’t seem to part with them. I got these a few years ago and have worn them out so many times that they honestly look a little sad now. I’m sure you all have an item (or more) that you just can’t seem to part with even if it’s starting to look a little shabby, so hopefully you can relate and forgive me this time for having to link a similar item. :)

What are some ways that you stay organized in this crazy thing we call life?

Stay Fancy! <3 Hollie
