17 Nov That Time I Felt Like A Princess in AMS Atelier

If you follow along on my social media, then you may have seen this outfit pop up a few times over the past month and there is a reason for that.
First of all, it is very special to me because the extremely talented Alex Snyder from AMS Atelier custom made it for me to wear to the Dallas Market Fashion Show last month to introduce his collection as the featured designer. Secondly, well all you have to do is look at it to see how beautiful these pieces are. From the floral print on the sheer sleeves and the beautiful floral print underlay on the skirt that is longer in the back, this outfit is perfection! I had so much fun twirling like a Princess during this photoshoot. But, can we talk about that gorgeous bow in the back!?
I wore this the night of the fashion show (and to a different fashion event in Dallas the next night #repeatoffender). I had just gotten a spray tan, so I had to get the top dry cleaned and they untied my bow at the cleaners! It has been an ongoing joke with Alex because he ties bows in such a unique and beautiful way and lets just say my bow tying skills are not up to par…like I can’t even tie my shoes straight, so I tried my best to retie it (and contemplated flying to San Francisco to have him tie it before my shoot haha). After many tries, this was my best! This top is the prettiest top I have ever seen regardless of how it is tied, but just to give you a fun back story to go with it. 🙂
The AMS Atelier team was here in Dallas to display their Spring/Summer 2018 Collection- The Kahlo Collection that is filled with fabulous white pieces and pops of the prettiest pink. Inspired by what Frida Kahlo wore and painted, AMS Atelier reinvented them for today. You can read more about the collection here. All pieces are Made in America and are size inclusive! You can see a video of the runway show below.
It isn’t often that I say something is my favorite, but I can honestly tell you that Alex is my favorite designer. Any piece that he creates is not only breathtaking, but filled with passion. It’s amazing to get the opportunity to chat with someone and learn just how passionate they are about what they do. Be sure to check out the AMS site here. Because I know someone will ask, this is not a paid ad. I am truly honored to have these opportunities with the AMS Atelier team (shoutout to Alex, Dan, Grace and Taylor!) and all opinions are my own.
Below are some more shots so you can see all the details of this look and below that, I’ll show you my top 5 favorite pieces from the Kahlo Collection.
You can see the entire Kahlo Collection here.
I would love to know which AMS Atelier look is your favorite! Let me know in the comments!
Thanks for reading and Stay Fancy! <3 Hollie
