Necklace: Fashions of Fancy
Yay for the weekend!
I’ve recently noticed that my schedule has gotten a little too crazy for my usual sticky notes and that I really needed a planner to stay organized. Yes, I know..we all have iPhones, etc. now but for some reason, I still like to physically write things down.
I saw this Emily Ley simplified planner on The Cake by Hannah (you should check out her blog also!) as well as several other blogs and knew it would be perfect! Of course I was a wee bit late and it’s already sold out. 🙁 I luckily found someone that decided they didn’t want theirs and I’m so happy that I did! It has really helped me keep all my appointments and daily “to-do’s” in check! Plus, who doesn’t love that feeling of marking something off once you accomplish it!? There are so many great planners out there, so don’t worry if you can’t get your hands on this one! I linked some other great ones above. 😉 read more
Sweater: Express (on sale!)
There are some days when you just feel like wearing something comfy..cute but comfy. Yesterday was one of those days for me. It was a Monday after all!
I recently got this sweater from Express and it’s the perfect length for skinnies or leggings. I love that the back is a little longer since most of us need a little extra to cover the junk in the trunk. 😉 I also love that it’s the perfect soft grey color and has three quarter length sleeves. read more

Necklace: BaubleBar (on sale!)
When I saw Pantone release the colors for 2016, I was so excited that Rose Quartz was one of them! For some reason I just gravitate to this blush color any time that I see it. I love that it’s girly and feminine, but on this particular day, I wanted that side but also wanted to bring my edgy side! I call this ballerina biker chic because this color takes me back to my dancing days when I did ballet and the biker chic part for obvious reasons. 😉 read more
