16 Aug Hop to It with StudioHop
A month ago, I had the opportunity to try out a StudioHop membership for a month. I wanted to get back in shape (especially before NYFW) so I figured this was the perfect way to kick it off. StudioHop is a membership that allows you to hop around to different fitness studios. If you are like me and get bored doing the same the workout every day, then this is the perfect membership for you! (Are you ready to hop to it with StudioHop ? – Get $20 off using code “holliehop20” until 8/31!)
You can currently sign up for StudioHop in Dallas, Fort Worth, Austin, San Antonio, Oklahoma City and Tulsa and will expand to more in the future! You also can’t beat the price of their membership. The unlimited one that includes one class a day and 5 classes at each studio within a billing cycle is only $135!
When I first set up my account, I immediately started scheduling classes. You can schedule up to 4 classes at a time and see the schedules of the studios up to 14 days in advance on the website or on their app. During my first week, I tried out many studios to see what types of classes that I liked and which ones that I didn’t like so much. I’ll get into what has become my routine of classes that I love below, but first a little more about StudioHop.
At first, I hated the thought of getting charged a $12 late fee if I didn’t cancel a class within 12 hours, but then quickly realized it was brilliant. It’s like having your very own reliability partner to keep you on track. That $12 will add up quickly if you cancel too many classes. Yes, there are mornings I wake up for a 6 a.m. class and just want to pull the covers over my head and go back to sleep, but that keeps motivated to get out of bed and go!
If you ever have any technical issues or specific issues with a studio, the StudioHop support team is fast to respond and fix any issues. I only ran into one issue with a studio being closed when I showed up. StudioHop was quick to be sure I wasn’t charged a fee and made sure to figure out the issue.
StudioHop members also have access to lots of perks and discounts with local businesses.
Now on to my schedule going forward because I loved StudioHop so much, that I’m going to continue being a member. You can see all of the studios that are partners with StudioHop here.
