17 Jan How I Straighten My Hair
Several of you have asked me about different ways I style my hair, and this post is going to focus on how I straighten my hair. I used to blow dry it and use a straightener when I wanted that sleek look, but I now prefer to wash my hair and night and let it air dry, which means I wake up with it a wild and wavy mess as you can see below.
I start by clipping my hair partially up so that I can straighten it in sections. It sounds like this would take longer, but I have learned that by doing it in sections, the least you have to go back and redo in the end. 😉
Now grab your Jade straightening brush by Irresistible Me! It’s a pretty green color (which is one of my favorites) and is super easy to use. There are 3 buttons on the side; power, temperature up and temperature down. I set mine to 450 degrees (it ranges from 270 to 450) and within a minute or so, it’s ready to straighten. Like I said, I grab smaller sections at a time and then you just brush through slowly like you would a normal hair brush or a typical straightener. Don’t worry about burning yourself, the bristles are there to prevent the heating plates from burning your head. If you sometimes second guess yourself after you leave your house on whether or not you turned off your straightener, this is for you because it also has an automatic shutoff!
Overall, I am very pleased with the Jade Straightening brush and will continue to use it on days I want my hair straight. It’s fast and easy and will make your morning routine much easier.
Let me know in the comments if you have tried the Jade Straightening Brush.
