It’s Thursday and I’m leaving today for a girl’s roadtrip to Marfa! Want to follow along on our little adventure? Just head over to my Snapchat- fashionsoffancy and I’ll keep you updated on the all the fun we have! One of the first things I packed in my bags are these Marrin Costello accessories. They have been my go to pieces since I received them. They add edge to any outfit which you all know my style leans a little bit to the edgy side. On top of both pieces being fabulous, Marrin is so nice and I was so excited to receive these items from her. read more

08 Nov Skechers Booties at the State Fair

holliefair73of119

I got this amazing opportunity to work with Skechers and showcase these versatile and stylish booties that are oh so comfortable! Although it was a little warm this day, I knew I wanted to test these Skechers Booties at the State Fair of Texas a few weeks ago to see just how comfy they were.

The ballots are in and these booties have my vote! I wore them all over the fair grounds and could have gone even further. They come in two colors (coffee (as seen on me) and black) and I chose this coffee color because it will go with everything! I paired it with this American Eagle Chartreuse Sweater and these destroyed American Eagle jeans that are now my new favorite pair for the moment. 🙂 I don’t like wearing just a plain sweater, so I tied this American Eagle plaid shirt around my waist and added this squash blossom necklace from Pineapple Lace. read more

06 Nov Drinks of Choice Tee

hollieseptember2of22

It’s finally starting to feel a wee bit like fall here in Dallas, with a 88 degree day here and there in between. For those days, I try to take a fall take on a warmer weather look like this outfit. I love this choker tee and all of the drinks of choice that are listed on it! Well except the beer..I’m not a beer drinker at all. I also added some over the knee fringe boots that I’ve had for a few years now to give more a fall look. This denim mini is perfect with any graphic tee and boots or can be paired with tights as the weather gets cold. Finish it off with a fun ring and some stackable bracelets and you are all set! read more

03 Nov Staycation at Etta’s Place

Every once in a while, everyone needs a vacation, but sometimes you don’t have the free time to go somewhere far away and just want a quick staycation! Last week, Robyne from Southern Affairs and I hopped in the car and drove to Ft. Worth for a fun girl’s trip. Ft. worth is only about 35 minutes from Dallas, but I recommend it even if you are from further out of town/state.

Etta’s Place

We stayed both nights in Sundance Square at my new favorite spot, c/o Etta’s Place. Etta’s Place is an adorable little bed and breakfast in the middle of downtown and the perfect quiet get away with only 10 rooms. The manager, Leslie, as well as the other ladies that work there are extremely nice and helpful. Even though we both live close to Ft. Worth, we didn’t have the best idea of what we wanted to do while we were there and they were super helpful giving us ideas and letting us in on a few places that most don’t know about.

20 Oct Olive Details

hollieseptember24of29

One of my favorite colors for fall is olive green. I really just loved any shade of green, but olive is the first color I pop out when fall gets here. It’s a great neutral that you can mix with many different colors, one of my favorites being blush pink, or you can pair it with neutrals like I did with this look.

I started with a plain white bodysuit and a high waisted pair of flare jeans for this day. I am obsessed with bodysuits and love pairing them with jeans and skirts. I hope they don’t go out anytime soon because I just keep loading up on them..I literally have an entire section in my closet specifically for bodysuits…eek! I then found this skinny scarf that I purchased and simply tied it in a bow. The outfit could be finished at that point, but I always want to throw on a vest when I feel an outfit is a little blah, so that’s what I did! I added this tan sleeveless blazer and it was just the look I wanted. I threw on my favorite booties from ShuEsq that are a beautiful greenish yellow color and grabbed my olive bag. I threw on some jewelry and was out the door for the perfect fall day browsing around the Bishop Arts District here in Dallas. read more
