Pampering Sesh with My Capitvating Skin

14 May Pampering Sesh with My Capitvating Skin

You all know that I am all about skincare and taking the time to treat myself for pampering sessions, so I was super excited to collaborate with Candace for a pampering sesh with My Captivating Skin. It is the perfect combination of taking care of my face and having some relaxation “me” time all at once. My Captivating Skin is located in Southlake, right outside of Dallas, so if you’re anywhere near the DFW area, I highly recommend you try out her many services.

I arrived last Monday into a beautifully decorated and relaxing skincare studio room with candles, lemon water and macarons. Candace had a form for me to fill out to better cater the treatment to my skincare needs and then I changed into a gown to get comfortable and to better enjoy my treatment. pampering sesh my captivating skin fashions of fancy facial

Candace began by cleansing my face and the on to dermaplaning and I had so many of you ask me questions when I posted about it! Dermaplaning is the perfect way to rid your skin of fine hairs “peach fuzz” and exfoliate the epidermis of your skin.  It is done with a sharp blade, but don’t worry, it isn’t painful at all and it’s a pretty quick process. Dermaplaning leaves your skin feeling silky smooth and allows for your face to better absorb your skincare products, which means you will get your money’s worth on those facial products. It also allows for your makeup to go on so much smoother, so I highly recommend trying dermaplaning.  Many of you asked me if the hair would grow back fuller, and the answer is no! It will grow back as it was before and not thicker or at a faster rate. 🙂 pampering sesh my captivating skin fashions of fancy facialpampering sesh my captivating skin fashions of fancy facialpampering sesh my captivating skin fashions of fancy facialpampering sesh my captivating skin fashions of fancy facialpampering sesh my captivating skin fashions of fancy facial

Next, Candace did a charcoal mask on me by Beauty Counter that draws out impurities and oils and treats congested skin. As I waited for the mask to do it’s thing, Candace massaged my hands and arms and went above and beyond to make sure I was relaxed. You all know I speak my opinion 100%, and I will honestly tell you that this is the best facial I have ever had! Once she used warm towels to remove the mask, my skin immediately felt refreshed and clean.

Next, Candace used ice globes over my entire face. I had never seen or heard of this treatment before, but I’m so glad I tried it. It was very cold on my face, but felt amazing! Ice globes are good to use to reduce any redness or inflammation. They also stimulate blood circulation and reduce pores and fine lines.      pampering sesh my captivating skin fashions of fancy facial pampering sesh my captivating skin fashions of fancy facialCandace finished by applying a moisturizer to my face and touching up my eyebrows. I really appreciated this since mine can get a bit out of control! There were so many little ways that she went above and beyond to take her time and make sure I was comfortable and relaxed. As you can tell, I am definitely a happy customer that will be going back. I couldn’t believe how glowy my skin was after my appointment and my products and makeup have gone on so much better this past week! Whatever your skincare issues may be, be sure to head to My Captivating Skin to treat your skin and treat your self to a relaxing session! pampering sesh my captivating skin fashions of fancy facialpampering sesh my captivating skin fashions of fancy facialpampering sesh my captivating skin fashions of fancy facial
